B.O.B. Fest 2005 (in Oakland) Compilation DVD Rockumentary/Guerillamentary TBA
Every other year, punk bands from England, Germany, and California come together in one of three cities: Breman, Oakland, or Bath. Hence, B.O.B. Fest. In 2005, thirty bands played over the course of a five day, four venue event. NC Studios had been communicating with those involved with the punk rock festival by attending their pre-event meetings. Equipment, materials and labor for documenting the festival was entirely taken care of by NC Studios, who are now busy editing the 20+ hours of footage. Plans of a DVD including an excerpt from each band's performance is in the works, but whether or not a label will distribute it is unknown at this time. Stay tuned for updates and/or sneak previews.

UPDATE: 06/08/06
B.O.B. Fest 2005 post-production has been going great and bands are being edited at a steadily accelerating pace. As of now, NC Studios is in great need of a few band logo images to place over the finished sets. Logos or band name fonts for Schifosi, SOSA, and Cruevo are needed before preview DVDs can be produced for these bands. If anyone has an image or knows where to locate one online, please email Dylan at dcromwell@cca.edu, or dilkrom@inurtek.net, or Bobby at bnicholson@cca.edu. Thank you in advance for your donations/leads.

NC Studios is also involved with a non-profit, community-based organization known as SOTS (Stewards of the Street). SOTS provides a socially focused canopy under which community-related films and videos can be produced. This canopy is called Shopping Cart Productions.

Ira Hawkins, a dear friend and frequent art collaborator and partner of NC Studios, runs his own non-profit, community-based organization known as SOTS (Stewards of the Street). His aim is to end homeless by connecting individuals on the street to those that live comfortably within the confines of a house or apartment. Ira arranged for us to document and create a film about what he is doing. The first few shoots are gone extremely well and we are anxious and excited to shoot more. Ira has just returned from Seattle and will be back on the street as early as this week. Please view his website if you are interested in reading further about what Ira does within the community. Stay tuned for updates and/or sneak previews.
